High Horse Announces Debut Album: A New Wave of Progressive Acoustic Music

High Horse, the innovative progressive-acoustic boy band known for blending Celtic and classical influences with alternative rock, is excited to announce the upcoming release of their debut full-length album. The album, featuring the production talents of renowned mandolinist Jacob Jolliff and the expert engineering of Dave Sinko, is expected to drop later this year.

High Horse is made up of four multi-talented musicians: Carson McHaney (fiddle), Karl Henry (cello), G Rockwell (guitar), and Noah Harrington (bass). Each member brings a wealth of experience and a unique musical background, drawing from their prestigious education at institutions like the Oberlin Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, and New England Conservatory. The band has already garnered attention for their virtuosic playing, tight vocals, and energetic performances.

The group's chemistry and collective experience shine through in their music, which features original compositions as well as tunes from various folk traditions. High Horse members have previously collaborated with notable artists such as Aoife O’Donovan, Jeremy Kittel, and Esperanza Spalding, enriching their musical style and depth.

In addition to announcing their album, High Horse has released a music video for the track “Discern,” which will be featured on the upcoming album. The video is available on their official YouTube channel, along with other captivating live performance videos. An unreleased video of the traditional song “Been All Around This World” is also set to debut soon, further showcasing the band’s dynamic range and musical prowess.
