Umphrey’s returns to Red Rocks over Independence Weekend for our first two night stand at the Nation’s premiere Amphitheatre. All-pro ensemble The Nth Power have crafted a collection of new songs featuring their signature soul, funk and R&B sound and are inviting fans take part in the recording process. Intimate live recording sessions for the new material will take place over two-nights in Boston, MA and one-night in the quartet’s hometown of Brooklyn, NY. Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is excited to announce the Suwannee Roots Revival taking place October 13­-16, 2016 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, FL. The potentially rainy day at the nation’s most beautiful outdoor venue made the perfect backdrop to what was about to transpire. The Flaming Lips, with their elaborate stage set up for over one hundred performers, were going to play their entire album entitled The Soft Bulletin with the Colorado Symphony led by conductor Andre de Ritter.

The 7th annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival was held over Memorial Day weekend at the historic Monterey County Fair and Event Center at the South end of the Monterey Bay in central California.

Balkan Beat Box celebrate a short stint of successful stateside dates that wrapped triumphantly this weekend with a packed out show at DC’s 9:30 Club (w/Yemenite sister trio A-Wa in support), having commenced with an equally shoulder-to-shoulder affair at NYC’s Irving Plaza on June 17th , with the release of their new single, “Shout It Out,” accompanied by a nifty skate n’ spray lyric video.
