Originating from Kitchener Ontario, Hugo Alley is a high energy indie rock band that has quickly built a reputation for their hard hitting, dynamic live shows and distinctive groove. With influences such as Young the Giant, Bad Suns, The Paper Kites and Sticky Fingers, they blend groovy rhythms, catchy melodies, and experimental guitar textures to create their characteristic sound and feel.

Achilles Wheel, which has been carving an ever-widening circle of fan appreciation over the past eight years, is working on a new live recording project, the second session of which was a real humdinger in their idyllic, rustic hometown of Nevada City, Calif., on August 21.

In past concerts that have been described by the New York Times as being “soulful,” “evocative,” and “playing directly to the band’s strengths,” the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis performed original compositions inspired by masters of modern art including Romare Bearden, Stuart Davis, Sam Gilliam, Winslow Homer, Wifredo Lam, Norman Lewis and Piet Mondrian. On August 2, 2019,Blue Engine Records will release the studio recordings of these charts on a new album entitled Jazz and Art.

Today, Marco Benevento releases "Send It On A Rocket," his self-proclaimed "end of summer anthem" and third single ahead of new album Let It Slide (out September 20th on Royal Potato Family).

The Lil Smokies just released their video for “Gone at Last” featuring Anders Beck of Greensky Bluegrass and Jay Cobb Anderson of Fruition. This is the third video from The Lil Smokies’ latest live album Live at the Bluebird. The videos were all recorded in Denver, Colorado at the Bluebird Theater in late 2018.
