Jim Lauderdale, the prolific, two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning American music icon, shares the video for “Cackalacky,” from his new bluegrass album, When Carolina Comes Homes Again, out March 27 (note new release date) on Yep Roc Records.

Expect plenty of picking-and-grinning when music-loving friends and family join forces for the Hellman Winter Stomp at Sweetwater Music Hall on Sunday, February 23. The evening of American roots music will feature musical members of the Hellman family along with a host of special guest musicians, a deliciously prepared buffet from the Sweetwater café and lots of merriment.

Drawing inspiration from Curtis Mayfield’s Superfly soundtrack and featuring neo-soul group The Shindellas, the track never takes its foot off the gas.

Adored world-folk music group, Rising Appalachia, are pleased to invite viewers, both new fans and old, to their NPR Tiny Desk Concert which was filmed in November of last year while the band was routing through Washington D.C. for their sold out show at The Hamilton Theatre.

Fast forward, after celebrating their 50th Anniversary with the critically acclaimed 2018 release of “Soul Side of Town”, Tower of Power stirs it up for the launch of their next album - STEP UP.

Thanks to the generosity of the guitar's new owner Andy Logan, Dark Star Orchestra guitarist Jeff Mattson will be the first to perform with the instrument since Garcia set it down following that summer evening's show. Alligator returns to the stage Saturday, February 15 when Dark Star Orchestra performs at The Warfield in San Francisco.
