All aboard Amtrak’s California Zephyr for Colorado’s newest festival experience, the Divide Music Festival. A quintessential Colorado festival featuring music, hiking, biking and yoga for three days in Winter Park this July, the festival is a celebration of the Colorado lifestyle, in epic proportions.

Loaded to the brim with celebrated AAA radio performers, the inaugural festival will feature Blondie, Passion Pit, CAKE, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Kid Cudi, The Fray, Miike Snow, JR JR, Bleachers, and Saint Motel as well as Colorado grown performers Gipsy Moon, Foxfield Four, Edison, POPFILTER, and One Flew West to name a few.

The Winter Park Ski Train has long been a celebrated method of travel for weekend warriors, carrying skiers directly from Denver’s Union Station to the slopes. Festival goers will have the opportunity to land at Denver International Airport in the morning, take the new East Rail Commuter Line to Union Station, board the train, and arrive right at the doors of the festival without ever needing a car. In fact, according to the Winter Park website, it's the only place in North America where it's possible to take the rails all the way to a ski resort.

Amtrak’s California Zephyr service operates twice daily serving up cold adult beverages, snacks and panoramic views of the expansive Colorado landscape along the way. Plus, with spacious reclining seats in coach, there is plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the ride. Sleeping Cars with private rooms are available in Bedroom, Roomette and Family Room accommodations for large groups to have some privacy on the rails.

A classic Colorado celebration, the Divide Music Festival marries the iconic mountain getaway experience with top tiered musical acts and outdoor opportunities of all kinds. Festival goers can enjoy a serene mountain hike in the morning with one of Winter Park’s professional trail guides, sip Colorado local craft beers, or simply enjoy a family style picnic next to the stage. With a campground worthy of a postcard, campers will enjoy expansive views of the great divide while discounted lodging options provide families with an inexpensive getaway ripe with activities and fun.

A national-scale event with roots planted deep in the Colorado community, Divide Festival is produced by the Denver-based company, Team Player Productions. Having produced The Taste of Fort Collins for the past twenty years, as well as more than 35 other events per year, Team Player Productions lives up to its name as an organization whose integrity and vision serve the community and all its members.

Known best as Colorado's longest continually operated ski resort, featuring over 3000 acres of award-winning terrain, Winter Park is a picture perfect atmosphere for a mountain-centric celebration of this kind. The area boasts over 600 miles of trails devoted to mountain biking and hiking alone. Additionally, the resort offers a number of activities for kids of all ages such as a climbing wall, a 20 hole disc golf course, human maze and over 3,000 ft of heart-pounding adrenaline on the alpine slide.

A range of discounted lodging packages and ticketing opportunities are available on the official festival website including camping upgrades, single day, weekend and three day passes located at www.dividemusicfestival.com.
