Starting in May, the newly renovated Ardmore Music Hall will host a limited capacity concert series of 30 socially distanced seated shows to start out, featuring notable local and internationally recognizable artists like G. Love, Project Logic ft DJ Logic, John Medeski, MonoNeon, Vernon Reid & Daru Jones, Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves, Willie Nile, Donavon Frankenreiter, and many more.

Fans can look forward to many upgrades at the venue, including a new balcony area with some of the best seats in the house, a new signature marquee, classic street-facing box office windows, a new and larger stage, expanded hardwood dancefloors, and a private party lounge. A video walkthrough of the venue guided by Aron Magner of The Disco Biscuits can be viewed here.

The first performance among the newly announced shows will be on Thursday, May 6th and will feature locally beloved Grateful Dead tribute, Splintered Sunlight. Tickets for all spring and summer shows will go on sale at noon on Tuesday, April 20, with 100 seats available per show. Masks are required for entry. To ensure social distancing requirements, attendees will be situated throughout the venue and will be provided with a table and chairs, where food and drink from new menus can be enjoyed during the show. Dancing at (but not on!) your table is also encouraged.

Before flexing its music muscles with a full calendar beginning in May, Ardmore Music Hall tests the waters this weekend with three sold-out back-to-back shows (Everyone Orchestra on 4/23 and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on 4/24 & 4/25). For a glimpse of what's to come in May & beyond, fans can stream these shows entirely for free via the venue’s YouTube channel.
