Unlike the mixed-bag aesthetic of many contemporary albums, “Astronomy Man” is not just a collection of songs. There is a continuum of consciousness hidden within the genetics of this album that can’t be effectively perceived unless it is experienced in its entirety and in the intended sequence. “Astronomy Man” comprises 11 songs, but it is a living, breathing organism that is greater than the sum of its parts. “Astronomy Man” is an entity unto itself.
