Hard Working Americans will return in August for a summer tour, following a brief hiatus to tend to their regular gigs. Hard Working Americans features vocalist Todd Snider, bassist Dave Schools, guitarist Neal Casal, keyboardist Chad Staehly, guitarist Jesse Aycock and drummer Duane Trucks. Stops will include performances in St. Louis, Birmingham, Athens, Columbus, Asheville and Richmond (See Tour Dates Below).

Formed in 2013, the band released their self-titled debut album in January 2014 to much critical acclaim that included Rolling Stone, NPR’s Fresh Air, Huffington Post, The Washington Post and a debut TV performance on Conan (See Highlights). NPR Fresh Air called the album “…a statement of both solidarity and fun.” Hard Working Americans reached #1 on the iTunes Rock Chart and #1 on the Americana radio chart, where the album remained in the top 5 for 13 weeks. The band also received an Americana Music Award nomination for Best Duo/Group of the Year.

In October, the band released The First Waltz, a live album and live concert rockumentary film that chronicles the band’s first collaboration, the making of their debut album and their sold-out, first-ever live performance in Boulder, CO from filmmaker Justin Kreutzmann (The Who, Grateful Dead).

Hard Working Americans is currently putting the final touches on a new album to be released in early 2016.

As an anything-goes band rallying for American individualism, freedom and community, Hard Working Americans continue to spread their mission to packed houses across the country.
