Early details of a major new festival experience that will take place just outside Florida's magnificent Lake Okeechobee have been announced. Slated for March 4th - 6th, 2016, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will be Florida's biggest ever camping festival, with an extraordinary multi-genre bill boasting more than 80 artists, bands, and DJs from around the globe performing across five diverse stages. Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, an independently produced event, will be highlighted by a dusk-til-dawn stage showcasing the world's top electronic artists as well as a series of once-in-a-lifetime artist collaborations produced by the creative force behind the world famous Bonnaroo SuperJam. An initial artist line-up will be announced soon -- for updates, please see www.okeechobeefest.com.

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is presented by Soundslinger, LLC, a team of all-star concert promoters and producers with credits spanning Manchester, TN's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and San Francisco, CA's Outside Lands to Shanghai, China's STORM Electronic Music Festival and countless other shows around the globe.

Centrally located at Florida's Sunshine Grove (12517 NE 91st Avenue, Okeechobee, FL 34972) on over 800 acres of pristine grasslands, clear lakes, and exotic tropical woodlands, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will present creative souls from around the world with a matchless designed topography in which to celebrate. Festival attractions will include a white-sand lakeside-swimming beach and bar, wooded VIP camping areas, and an assortment of spectacular immersive art installations. Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will also feature a wide array of locally sourced treats from some of Florida's most popular food trucks, craft beer makers, and artisanal purveyors. Environmental and other socially conscious campaigns will be presented, as well as yoga, meditation, and holistic workshops instructed by world-renowned body workers.

"We believe that the festival culture in the US is at a crossroads," says Soundslinger COO/Chief Creative Officer Paul Peck, who helped launch and develop Bonnaroo. "People are looking for meaningful festival experiences and events where they can connect with a true sense of inspiration and community. Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will offer something truly special.  Sunshine Grove is the most naturally beautiful festival site in the country and we're transforming it into a magical new world of music, food, art, and creativity. I can't wait to share with fans what we're cooking up."
