A little over a month ago Samoan Reggae Artist and Compton Native J Boog announced the release date (Nov 18, 2016) of his long awaited album. Five years after releasing his sophomore album Backyard Boogie J Boog and his Bay Area/Hawaii based Record Label The Wash House Music Group, have finally released J Boog's much anticipated third album Wash House Ting. This will be his second album under The Wash House Music Group and will include features from international reggae artists: Gappy Ranks, George "Fiji" Veikoso, and a powerful young New Zealand Artist by the name of Aaradhna. Also featured on the album are Jamaican Reggae Legends Chaka Demus, and two Grammy Award winning Artists Gramps Morgan, and Buju Banton himself. Up & coming artists Lion Fiyah & Tenelle also appear on the album.

This album has come just three days after J Boog & his Hawaii based band "The Hot Rain Band" showcased a brilliant performance on the third annual Welcome To JamRock Reggae Cruise. A performance that left the reggae cruise predominantly made up of Jamaican and Caribbean passengers wide eyed and in awe. J Boog & Hot Rain made history as they entered as the first Polynesian Artists to be invited on the line-up. Critics & artists have all concurred that they may have very well had one of the best performances on the cruise this year. To celebrate the release of his album the Compton Native alongside his band joined Reggae sensation Christopher Martin and performed for the first time ever in Jamaica.

Wash House Ting is currently sitting at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Charts, as well as #4 on the Billboard Heat Seekers Charts, and #26 for Billboard’s Independent Albums, while debuting at #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts in the U.S. & rapidly climbing on International iTunes Charts as well. Press accolades have been rolling in from tastemakers including Billboard, Crave, LA Weekly, The Pier, Reggaeville, and more!

Even though the holiday season is upon us and 2017 is just weeks away, J Boog has no intentions on taking a vacation just yet. He is set to travel to the island of Saipan and Guam where he will be performing alongside fellow Hawaiian Musicians Mike Love, Anuhea, and The Jimmy Weeks Project. He will also be kicking off the new year with a 6 week winter tour set for January to promote the release of the new album. Supporting acts for the tour are a couple of legends in the making, Jo Mersa Marley who is the son of Grammy Award winning Reggae Legend Stephen Marley and Jemere Morgan son of Grammy Award winning Reggae Legend Gramps Morgan.
