Jam Cruise 15 Announces Artist Lineup

As tradition holds, Cloud 9 Adventures took to Jazzfest in New Orleans today to unveil the highly anticipated lineup for Jam Cruise 15. Pulling out all of the stops for it’s 15th sailing, the lineup brings The Original Meters, moe., GRiZ, Kamasi Washington, Vulfpeck, Galactic, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, The Revivalists, The Motet, Lettuce, Turkuaz and more to the high seas, with approximately 25 bands plus additional special guest artists on the bill. A noteworthy addition to the lineup is that of Benevento Russo Duo, performing together as the proper duo for the first time in eight years. The complete list of confirmed artists is included below.

Jam Cruise 15 sails out of Miami on January 20 and returns on January 25, 2017, with stops in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Grand Cayman Island. To honor this milestone sailing, the cruise veterans are taking the annually sold-out event back to more intimate roots on board the Norwegian Pearl. Jam Cruisers can expect a variety of unique and intimate venues as organizers transform the cruise ship into a majestic luxury concert vacation at sea, where almost all artists will perform two shows each throughout the week.

Alongside incredible sets from world-class musicians, Jam Cruise offers curated programs both on and off the ship. Onboard fan favorites such as Brews at Sea, Chefs at Sea, and Yoga at Sea elevate the experience. Passengers can also participate in artist-led activities, theme nights, door-decorating contests, autograph signings, “seen only on Jam Cruise” artist collaborations, special guest sit-ins, and much more. Once in port in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Grand Cayman Island, Jam Cruisers have the opportunity to go ashore for excursions, sightsee, spend the day on the beach, or participate in the Positive Legacy Day of Service to give back to the local community.

The Norwegian Pearl is a splendor in a class of her own. The Pearl features all of the amenities and attractions to make for five days of magic with the Jam Cruise family including: 16 dining options, 13 bars and lounges, a world-class spa, full service casino, state-of-the-art fitness center including a jogging track, pools, hot tubs and beautiful staterooms. Cruisers can expect six newly curated Jam Cruise venues on board, which include the main stage on the pool deck, the always exciting and unpredictable late night jam room, a vibrant theater, new atrium stage, an intimate spot for fan-favorite piano sets, as well as an ambient late night lounge. The move to Norwegian Pearl makes for an exciting change in setting and opportunity for a new musical adventure for fans and artists alike.

Returning to Jam Cruise 15 is the charitable organization Positive Legacy. Positive Legacy works with Cloud 9 Adventures to integrate music and service to positively impact the environment, carbon footprint of traveling, and the local communities who welcome Jam Cruise to their shores. Their annual Day of Service will take place either in Ocho Rios, Jamaica or Grand Cayman Island during the port stops. With an onboard donation drive and silent auction of art, signed photographs and instruments, Positive Legacy is able to raise funds during Jam Cruise to further their charity efforts. More information regarding Positive Legacy and the 2017 programs will be made available on www.jamcruise.com

Cabins go on sale to all who reserved a spot in the pre-book period during the starting May 3. Cabins are on sale to the public on May 12 at 12pm EDT. Visit www.jamcruise.com for all of the details.
