James Morrison To Release New Album "The Awakening"

One of the United Kingdom's most revered and successful young singer-songwriters James
Morrison is proud to announce the US release of The Awakening - His third full length album
due out October 11th on Universal Republic Records.
 
Morrison's presence can already be felt intensely worldwide.  He was the recipient of the prestigious BRIT Award in 2007 for "Best Male Singer-Songwriter".  His first two albums Undiscovered (2006) and Songs for You, Truths for Me (2008) bother garnered widespread critical acclaim as they topped UK charts, selling a combined 4.5 million copies.  "You Make It Real", his epic collaboration with Nelly Furtado was a smash success, skyrocketing to the top ten of numerous European charts.  However, The Awakening is primed to awaken the United States and beyond to his enigmatic sound.
 
With a robust delivery and elegant songwriting ability, Morrison crafts rapturous anthemic pop.  New single "I Won't Let You Go" is a hypnotic and harmonious ballad carried by his immense voice.  The song officially drops on iTunes on September 27, 2011 and listeners will be able to experience Morrison in all his glory.  It's only a prelude to what's in store on the full length album though.
 
In addition, he recorded a duet with label mate, Jessie J entitled "Up".  The track pairs two of the globe's hottest fresh talents for an unforgettable collaboration that's bound to get everyone talking.
