LOCKN' Festival has announced the next stage of competition in its annual "ROCKN' TO LOCKN'" contest, presented in partnership with Starr Hill and Virginia Tourism Corporation. Twenty Virginia-based acts have been selected to take part in an epic battle of the bands, with three finalists selected to perform at LOCKN' Festival 2017, taking place August 24-27, 2017 on the beautiful Oak Ridge and Infinity Downs Farms in Arrington, Virginia. Tier 1 Tickets are available now at www.locknfestival.com/tickets.

ROCKN' TO LOCKN' voting is underway now through Wednesday, March 1 at www.locknfestival.com/rtlvote. Fans can listen to the music of the Top 20 finalists and vote once per day. Everyone who votes will automatically be entered for a chance to win a pair of 4-day GA LOCKN' tickets.

The 12 bands with the most votes will go on to the next round with in-club performances and live in-person fan voting.  From there, the top six bands will perform at the Rockn' to LOCKN' finale on Saturday, June 17 at Infinity Downs Farms. Live performance and fan voting will play an important role in selecting the final top 3 finalists. The three winning bands will each win a spot to play live at LOCKN' Festival 2017 and receive a $500 performance fee.
