Nathaniel Rateliff nominated for "Album of the Year" and "Song of the Year" at 2020 Americana Awards

Acclaimed musician Nathaniel Rateliff’s latest solo album And It’s Still Alright as well as the title track are nominated for “Album of the Year” and “Song of the Year” at the 2020 Americana Awards. The annual awards ceremony will take place on September 16 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.

The album, which was released in late February on Stax Records, peaked at #3 on iTunes’ Top Albums chart, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Americana/Folk chart and landed at #2 on their Current Rock chart. The new album also held the #1 spot on the Americana Albums Chart for eight consecutive weeks. In addition, the title track “And It’s Still Alright,” spent eight consecutive weeks at #1 at Triple A Radio, nine consecutive weeks at #1 on the Americana Singles chart and three weeks at #1 on the Non-Commercial radio chart. “Time Stands” recently hit #1 on the Americana Singles chart and #17 at Triple A Radio.

On Saturday, Rateliff will also perform on Superfly’s “Small Business Live,” a benefit for minority-owned companies, as well as the Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s livestream concert.
