It is truly music to our ears to hear musicians and others in the music community say they want to support Rex Foundation work by being part of the Rex Musical Caravan!  With appreciation for the generosity and enthusiasm of all involved, we are pleased to announce the following great occasions and musical experiences you can enjoy:This Friday, April 5th, Olive & the Dirty Martinis, with opener Girl Named T, appear at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley.  Enjoy seeing Rex board member Stefanie Coyote and her band members.  I'm looking forward to being there, too.  Here are the details.Saturday, April 20th, Dogpatch Junction continues its spring tour with yet another Caravan event at the Presidio Yacht Club in Sausalito, CA.Beginning April 25, Boris Garcia will tour Northern California, and each show is part of the Caravan.  The band will be joined by David Gans at several shows, and the THUGZ during their May 4th show in Forestville.  Click here for all the dates and ticket information.Saturday, May 11, the Mickey Hart Band will perform in Kempton, PA at a great show put on by Flagship Music Productions.  Here is more information.We are honored to be included as a non-profit partner of the May 9-12 BottleRock Napa Valley Festival, taking place in Napa, California.  The Festival presenters are providing a special $40 discount only to Rex supporters for the Thursday show, along with other discounts for Friday-Sunday individual tickets and multi-day tickets, while also generously supporting Rex for each ticket sold with the promo code REX.  Here is more information about the outstanding line-up and how to order tickets to get the special discounts that also benefit the Rex Foundation.Released since February 12th is KEYS, the Keller Williams compilation of 10 Grateful Dead tunes, his second Rex benefit compilation.And, we will soon be announcing some great Caravan events taking place on the East Coast featuring our great friends New Riders of the Purple Sage and John Kadlecik .These Rex Musical Caravan events and all of your direct support help make possible the $8.8 million in grants, so far, to over 1,000 outstanding grassroots programs.  Here is a link to our Grantee Stories page so you can check out some the great work your support helps make possible.Thank you for being part of Rex.
