Frances Harding (9/12/1981 – 8/15/2012) She had the same birthday as Barry White and she thought she was Marvin Gaye, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison reincarnated all at once.  She defied any Atmosphere lyric, she sang any Ani, and she wrote with the fervor of Vonnegut.  May she find the peace and light that will carry her on to her next journey.  Some RatDog was something Frances enjoyed...-  7/06/06 Milwaukee, WI | RatDog ReviewBy Frances HardingSo I don't know if anyone else caught the Keller Williams, RatDog and String Cheese show at Summer Fest Thursday night, but I was there and there are no words to do it justice.  It was just some music, till the guy standing next to me leaned over and whispered, It'll change right now, Right here the whole set's gonna be different.  Right then Bob Weir played Hard Rains Gonna Fall, and I don't know how many of you have heard that live, but the studio recording brings tears to my eyes, so try to imagine a man like Bob Weir paying tribute to Bob Dylan in a packed house with patrons from age 15 to age 80.  All of those people there together.  "I saw one man wounded in love... I saw another man wounded in hatred... Everyone is shouting and nobody's listening..." It kind of makes me wonder about all the moments I try to waste waiting for something better to happen, someday I'll be so sick that I'll barely be able to move and I'll think about all those moments I looked up at the clock and thought "it's only been an hour??"I went to a diner and had breakfast and the waitress could barely breathe and the guy at the end of the counter was coughing in a way that made eating seem out of the question.  While all this was happening all three of us- me, the waitress, and old hack-up-a-lung were all smoking.  I paid and left.Needless to say, I think it had been a VERY long time since I had felt anything at all.  Happy, Sad, Angry, all completely out of the question.  Now it seems that everyithing is alive, and I 'm a very small child seeing everything for the first time.Thank you RatDog, for waking me up and reminding me I'm alive.
