Returning for its second year, the Oak Street Block Party is back in conjunction with New Orleans Jazzfest. The free high-energy outdoor music festival will feature music on three stages (two outdoors and one inside The Maple Leaf) from noon to 7pm on Wednesday, April 29 in the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans.

Headlining the event is the Oak Street All-Stars featuring an incredible cast of musicians including Oteil Burbridge, Kofi Burbridge, Roosevelt Collier, Adam Deitch, Adam Smirnoff, Jesus Coomes, Ryan Zoidis, Maurice Brown and Natalie Cressman. Performing throughout the day is Leftover Salmon, The Nth Power, Kung Fu, The Heard, Eddie Roberts West Coast Sounds, Sonic Bloom and Hard Proof.

Enriching the community in which it resides, admission is free and open to the public, but VIP tickets are also available. Proceeds will benefit the Oak Street Community, and WWOZ radio will be onsite collecting donations for the station.

Thank you to our sponsors: Purple Hat Productions, The Maple Leaf, Fiyawerx, Live for Live Music, JamCruise, Bear Creek Music & Art Festival, The Parlor Recording Studio, Parlor Entertainment, Brotherly Love Productions and The Funky Batz.
