Bringing alive the Spirit of one of Florida's most endearing and best loved Festivals, Wanee Block Party 2020 presented by BIG 105.9FM and The Allman Brothers Band hits the big stage Saturday, April 25th, outdoor and indoor at Revolution Live 100 SW Third Ave. in Ft. Lauderdale.
Headlined by Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, Blues Traveler, Stephen Marley’s Acoustic Soul, Jaimoe & Friends. The event also features Florida local bands, Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio, The Lee Boys, Melody Trucks Band, Crazy Fingers, Unlimited Devotion, Ben Sparaco, and Juke. With more bands to be added, this year’s event promises to bring more music, more fun and more entertainment to South Florida.
A limited number of VIP tickets are $175.00 and go on sale Wednesday, January 22nd at 10AM. They include a special private viewing area, drinks and light bites, private restrooms and admission to both the pre-Wanee and Late Show events including access to an exclusive VIP party on Friday, April 24th sponsored by The Big House Museum plus a private exhibit and book signing by the legendary Kirk West, showcasing his iconic one of a kind photography. Limited Early Bird General Admission tickets are $39.50 and go on sale Friday, January 24th, 10AM through Friday, January 31st 12AM or they sell out. From January 31st at 10 AM through March 31st the General Admission price is $59.99. After which the price rises to $69.99.
With the Led Zeppelin Evening, Jason Bonham continues the legacy of his father to bring the unique and powerful music of this 70’s super group to their fans once again. Bonham brings a fire and intensity to the musical mastery that is Led Zeppelin.
Led by the familiar sound of John Popper’s harmonica, Blues Traveler’s music spans the gamut from blues rock, psychedelic rock, folk rock, soul, and Southern rock. The Band is best known among fans for their improvisational live shows as well as their Top 40 Hits.
Son of the great Bob Marley, Stephen Marley has stepped into prominence as both grammy winning performer, producer, songwriter and musician. From working with his brothers and sisters to his award winning solo efforts, he has cemented his place within the music world. His Acoustic Soul performance promises to be a highlight for Wanee.
Legendary drummer and founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, Jaimoe & Friends, play American music. They combine elements of jazz, blues, rock-n-roll, and R&B into a unique blend that captures the spirit and stirs the soul. Their repertoire ranges from new interpretations of classic tunes to original songs that are classics in the making.
A limited separate $18.00 ticket will be on sale for a special Pre-Wanee Show featuring Pink Talking Fish doing the music of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish with a special selection of Allman Brothers Band music. It is scheduled for Friday, April 24th, 7PM, in America’s Back Yard 100 SW Third Ave., Ft. Lauderdale. Juke and Unlimited Devotion open.
And another limited special $20.00 ticket will be available for a Wanee Late Night Show. It will follow the main stage at 11:30PM in Revolution Live on Saturday, April 25th and features the exciting Allman Betts Band. Sons of the legendary Allman Brothers founders bring their own unique musical vision to the stage.
