Near capacity crowds flocked to Waterfront Park in Burlington, Vermont on September 13th and 14th for the 4th annual Grand Point North Music Festival presented by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. Grand Point North Festival featured two full days of continuous music on side-by-side stages along with Grand Point Local, a celebration of local restaurants and food purveyors, and Grand Point Weird,  the artistic component to the festival curated by Charlotte Potter.

AURA Music & Arts Festival has announced the addition of iconic jamband moe. to the already impressive 2015 line-up making this the biggest year yet for the homegrown music festival. Taking place at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida March 6 - 8, moe.

Riot Fest will be held at Mile High Stadium this year, and Denver is lucky enough to be one of the three cities picked to have these talented and eclectic bands play in our area.

In 2005, Riot Fest booked a multi-venue weekend of punk and rock in Chicago with bands such as Dead Kennedys, The Misfits, and The Bouncing Souls kicking things off. They even had ticket giveaways on their sweet Myspace page, and since then have been working hard every year to bring you the best fest they can.

The Second Lockn' Festival that went down last weekend in Arrington, Virginia, in the surrounding foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, was a cut above the rest for plenty of reasons. Aside from the high quality production put on by promoters, creating a lavish experience for even the most seasoned of festivalgoers, it really was the caliber of musicians on the bill that drew tens of thousands from all over the country.

Wakarusa Music Festival is excited to announce the dates for the 2015 festival. This years multi-day camping and music festival will take place June 4-7, 2015 on the majestic Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, AR.

For the promoters of Lockn’ Music Festival, combining an impressive array of headliners spanning decades of American Music alongside thriving local and regional artists seemed to be a necessity. After all, the southern U.S. is where much our music history was born and evolved.

The First Annual Cloak & Dagger Music Festival slated to take over dual venues in Denver, CO on September 20th invokes intrigue and mystery. Uniquely inspired by the vision of a truly underground festival that doesn't rely on mainstream headliners, Cloak & Dagger is designed to highlight the artistic side of soundscape blending. The first annual festival boasts of such heavy-hitters as

It's the end of summer. Labor Day weekend – arguably one of the best times of the year to be a Chicago resident. The de facto end to summer is a time that Chicagoans tend to embrace, as a sort of reminder that we do have a bit of time before the tundra-like conditions of winder arrive mere months (or, gulp, weeks) from now. It makes perfect sense, then, to use this time to hold an eclectic music festival that hosts bands and artists ranging from funk to EDM and from rock to hip-hop.

All I heard on the streets of Seattle this summer was how great the Bumbershoot lineup looked and that this was one of the best years in recent memory. While 2014 marked only my second year at the music and arts festival that takes over Seattle Center on Labor Day weekend, when I compared this year’s lineup to last year’s impressive collection of artists, I couldn’t help but shake my head sadly.

There is a small unincorporated lil “town” called Hoxeyville in the northern Michigan mitten and once a year the population exponentially grows when they open the gates to one of my all time favorite fests.  The drive north winds through quick moving clouds and green rolling fields that inspire but not quite as much as the dashing downbeat and the humbling hugs that abound at Hoxeyville.
