Higher Ground Presents and Grace Potter announced today the lineup for the 2019 Grand Point North music festival, scheduled for September 14 and 15 at Burlington, Vermont’s Waterfront Park. Joining Potter this year are Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Lucius, J.S. Ondara, Lucy Dacus, Michael Nau, and Bailen. Other artists are expected to be added to the lineup. Two day passes are currently on-sale.

Veteran R&B / blues icon Garrett Duton (G. Love) of G. Love & Special Sauce returns to Nauset Beach this fall for a reprisal of his inaugural sell-out event, the Cape Cod Roots & Blues Festival. The one-day celebration of music, community, and Cape Cod beach culture will take place September 14, 2019 in Orleans, Massachusetts, with sets from Citizen Cope, Chadwick Stokes and The Pintos, Mihali (of Twiddle), Clearcola, plus a generous helping of G.

On June 22nd, the annual music, art and food festival known as Molestice will return to the 100 block of N. Mole Street in Philadelphia to celebrate the Summer Solstice with live performances from nationally touring and regional acts, local favorite food trucks, local craft beers and all ages activities.  The annual block party begins at Noon and will run until 8:00 PM EST and is free to the public. 
 

Despite the weather forecasts throughout the few days prior to the event, mother nature decided she’d cooperate with the city of Cincinnati last weekend as Bunbury Music Festival took place at Yeatman’s Cove and Sawyer Point. The venue sits along the Ohio River, with three of Cincinnati’s bridges and several skyscrapers looming above the stages.  Northern Kentucky’s neighborhoods sit just across the river, providing the perfect backdrop for an urban music festival.

On November 2016, PORTER ROBINSON--who is bringing SECOND SKY FESTIVAL to California this June--got a call that would change his family’s life. His 17-year-old brother Mark was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, an aggressive, fast growing cancer. After intensive treatment at UNC Hospital on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from his doctors and the rest of their staff, Mark was eventually cured and is now thriving.

Appaloosa Roots Music Festival will return to Skyline Ranch Resort in Front Royal, Virginia, on Labor Day weekend—August 30-September 1, 2019—adding an entire third day of music to the two-day format of previous years.
