The 17th-annual Midpoint Music Festival (MPMF) today announced additional artists that will be part of its two-day event happening Saturday and Sunday, September 23-24, 2017 in downtown Cincinnati at the Taft Theatre and Cincinnati Masonic Center. A final wave of artists, including local and regional acts, will be announced in the coming weeks.

With 31 years of crowd-pleasing experience under their belts, the Green River Festival continues to deliver a summer music experience that goes “above and beyond” its hundreds of summer festival competitors. It is the festival’s long history, seeded in a community and the arts, paired with the event’s signature Saturday hot air balloon presentation, that keeps families and music lovers coming back to one of the region’s most popular weekend destinations.

Sometimes I think I am so full of shit. Ask my wife, and it’s probably safe to drop sometimes I think. But coming to Grey Fox Bluegrass Music Festival, a festival I come to every year, trying to think of a new way to make you, fair reader, understand that it is unlike anything that you have or ever will experience? I am full of shit to think I can do this. But thankfully, this year mother nature is co-writing this review, and she’s writing in the blurry ink of rain.

The Forecastle Festival celebrated 15 years at sea this year with headlining acts Odesza, LCD Soundsystem, and Weezer. Although they set sail 15 years ago, fans are still discovering unique quirks about the festival each year. Did you know their lost and found carries over each year? So, if you lost a glow stick in 2016, you could have potentially salvaged it in 2017. Did you know there is a parenting tent where parents can change or feed their babies in a quiet and shaded environment?

The Guitarfish Music Festival, held in Cisco Grove, CA in the beautiful Sierra Nevadas, is one of the premier family friendly festivals on the west coast. An intimate affair where lasting friendships are created, the element of belonging is tangible, and the experience is real. The music is diverse, and Kidsville is action packed. Prime mountain biking trails, a full spectrum of yoga classes, lounging in the natural swimming holes, circus performers, music play-shops and a World Market further inspire and intrigue.

Last week, Brooklyn Comes Alive announced a massive artist lineup, with over 100 artists slated to perform 35+ sets of music over two days in the heart of Williamsburg.

Returning for its third year, Bryant Park Presents' Emerging Music Festival (EMF) features a strong roster of on-the-rise indie rock, pop and folk bands, performing on one of the biggest stages of their career. All artists hail from the greater New York area, making EMF one of the city's largest local-only summer rock festivals. A new creative direction will bring an immersive music festival experience to Indianapolis’ historic Fountain Square neighborhood as the Fountain Square Music Festival (FSMF) returns Friday and Saturday, October 6-7, 2017. Produced by Absorb and MOKB Presents, FSMF creates a unique format allowing artists and audiences to converge. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 21 at 10 a.m.
