After two years of planning and working through the COVID pandemic, two Edmonton promoters have joined forces to present a new music festival in Edmonton, Dead Ends Live.

On the weekend of March 18 and 19, 2022, Edmontonians will be able to enjoy the first hotel-based indoor festival as Dead Ends Live presents a weekend based on music inspired by The Grateful Dead and the spirit of the Jam Band Scene.

After debuting a massive revamp of the festival grounds in 2021 and welcoming a record-breaking crowd of 75,000 people, Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival aims to make the 2022 edition the biggest one yet. Over the weekend of July 15-17, music fans will converge for three days of nonstop music, tattooing, haunted attractions, and more, all held on the historic grounds of the Ohio State Reformatory (made famous by the movie The Shawshank Redemption) located in Mansfield, Ohio.
 

From one of the minds behind Resonance Music and Arts Festival, comes Secret Dreams! A fresh and immersive weekend festival focusing on both visual and performing arts at the esteemed Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio.

Presented by Secret Dreams Productions and Papadosio, the inaugural Secret Dreams Music and Arts Festival will take place at Legend Valley on Thursday, August 18, Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Registration will remain open until 11:59pm ET on February 28th. Judges will narrow down the qualified entries to a maximum of up to 12 finalist bands to compete live at the 2022 JHMF. After recently announcing his retirement (Bluegrass Today, The Bluegrass Situation, WTVF NewsChannel 5), bluegrass giant Doyle Lawson has decided to pass the baton for his 41-year annual festival, held at Denton FarmPark in Denton, NC, to The Malpass Brothers. The Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver Bluegrass Festival will now be named The Malpass Brothers Bluegrass and Country Festival, sponsored by Springer Mountain Farms.

Today, the torch-bearing Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra announces the lineup for their ninth annual Dark Star Jubilee music festival. Produced by All Good Presents, the event was created as a band-curated continuation of the ongoing celebration of the music of the Grateful Dead, the Dark Star Jubilee has become a Midwest tradition for kicking off the summer season with three-nights of music, camping and community.
