The Newport Jazz Festival just announced that tickets will go on sale and the lineup will drop for the 2024 festival (August 2-4) on April 9th at 1PM Eastern, which has this East Coast mama reminiscing of all my favorite moments from last year! After having finally experienced the longest-running jazz festival in the country last year, it quickly made its way to the top of my ever-expanding list of favorite summer fests.

Today, singer/songwriter Bear Rinehart, aka Wilder Woods, is releasing his new single “Be Yourself” featuring the acclaimed duo The War & Treaty, who are currently nominated for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Bear originally wrote the song as a letter to himself and a salve for his self-described imposter syndrome as he eyed his second Wilder Woods album, an individual pursuit outside of his multi-platinum-selling band, NEEDTOBREATHE.

Powerhouse vocal duo, The War And Treaty announce details today behind extending their headlining FALL 2023 LOVER'S GAME TOUR. The band will bring their "massive, show-stopping vocals" (Vulture) to multiple cities this fall before closing out the leg in Austin, TX (10/22). Tickets for new headlining dates will be available this Friday (6/23) and “Hearts Town” fan club members can access tickets early via pre-sale beginning Wednesday (6/21) through Thursday (6/22).

The War and Treaty shined bright at the 2023 ACM Awards last night, marking the first time a black duo has performed on the ACM Awards. The emotional and powerhouse vocal performance of “Blank Page” brought the crowd to their feet, earning the duo a standing ovation. The performance can be viewed HERE.

Powerhouse vocal duo The War And Treaty announce details today behind their headlining 2023 LOVER'S GAME TOUR, launching Mar. 19th in Oklahoma City, OK. After performing more than 100 shows internationally and stateside this year, the husband-and-wife duo will bring their "massive, show-stopping vocals" (Vulture) to more than 35-cities this spring with stops in Los Angeles, CA (3/26) and New York City, NY (5/03), before closing out the leg in Nashville, TN (5/13).

Another vocal masterclass from the husband-and-wife duo of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, the bluesy ballad was co-written by the pair with Dave Barnes and marks the first taste of a highly-anticipated album, produced by Grammy award-winner Dave Cobb.

Powerhouse vocal duo The War And Treaty announce headlining dates to their summer run today ahead of their overseas trek that includes stops in the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy and the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom (6/24).

The War & Treaty, Sierra Ferrell and Junior Brown are among the final round of artists announced at a press conference today for the 21st Annual Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival, which takes place Sept. 9-11 in Historic Downtown Bristol, Virginia-Tennessee. Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Dustbowl Revival, and GRAMMY Award-winning country music stalwart Jim Lauderdale are also on the bill.

Beer, Bluegrass, Mountains: The WinterWonderGrass-Tahoe festival’s first venture in three years – thanks, COVID — succeeded with flying colors, April 1 to 3. The fest location, adjacent to Olympic Village, which was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, was the first festival of the year for many, and brought a distinctive assemblage of mountaintop adventure-seekers for a sweet conglomeration of jam-happy roots and bluegrass music, pleasing craft brews, and mountain views.
