April 19, 2018 will be the 75th Anniversary of Bicycle Day, the fated day in 1943 when the Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann took the world's first intentional acid trip. The date is called Bicycle Day because Hofmann rode home from his lab on his bike as the psychedelic effects of the substance began to take hold.

I went to NYC on November 10, 2007 to see Phil Lesh and Friends at the Nokia Theater in Times Square – in and of itself quite an event.
