Recorded in a single take at The Pound in Phoenix, AZ, this hour-long cut was entirely improvised, putting on wax what it means to be completely immersed in the moment, without expectation of what will come next. Experimental folk artist and composer Sam Amidon has announced new tour dates in support of his latest album, The Following Mountain. The tour is Amidon’s first in the US since 2015 and begins in Seattle on September 23 with additional stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Washington, D.C. and more before culminating in New York City on October 10.
