The quartet coming in hot this year is Spafford, and today they announce their Fall 2017 national headline tour dates. 34 of them, to be exact. Stops on the upcoming tour include, two nights at Asheville Music Hall in Asheville, NC, two nights in Denver, CO — including a special VIP-only performance — their first headline play at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY and an appearance at Suwanee Hulaween in Live Oak, FL. Ekoostik hookah founding member and vocalist John Mullins passed away unexpectedly yesterday.  Mullins, along with keyboardist Dave Katz formed the core of the pioneering Ohio jamband after a chance meeting in a little bar in Columbus, Ohio in early 1991.

The year will soon come when press releases for the Grey Fox Music Festival, held annually at the tranquil Walsh Farm in Oak Hill, NY, will no longer be necessary.

The Mojo Gurus are led by singer/songwriter Kevin Steele who throughout his illustrious career has worked with some of the best producers in the music business including Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith, The New York Dolls), Beau Hill (Ratt, Kix), Tommy Henricksen (Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, Hollywood Vampires) and Carl Canedy (The Rods, Anthrax, Roxx Gang). Kevin's critically acclaimed body of work has culminated in the Mojo Gurus’ latest record, GONE which he wrote, arranged and produced.
Bob Weir will play a standalone date at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado with The Campfire Band—comprised of Bryan Devendorf, Scott Devendorf, Josh Kaufman, Steve Kimock and Jon Shaw. The date will mark Jerry Garcia’s 75th birthday.

It is my honor to be writing to you all again about the wonder and beautiful sight that is Dark Star Jubilee. However, this year I write to you with feelings of pure joy and love that come from this festival but also a heavy heart. Dark Star Orchestra has had a tough week, as they face a possibly career-changing event. But more about that later, let’s talk about the joyful, blissful, wonderful, paradise event for friends and family that was Dark Star Jubilee.

The jam-oriented rockers swing through the Midwest and New York throughout July and August, performing three shows on historic waterways of their native New York State, with a hometown celebration on August 25th as they headline the 200 year anniversary of steamboats on Lake George.
