March is going to be a big month for Eminence Ensemble, the prog-jam sextet from Boulder, Colorado. Eminence Ensemble has just announced their Forbidden Fruit Tour, beginning on March 2nd and ending on March 17th, including shows in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.

For the tour finale, Eminence Ensemble is presenting their debut appearance at The Ogden Theatre in Denver, supporting TAUK and Greener Grounds for a very special St. Patrick's Day celebration.

Cory Henry, Brooklyn NY native, is telling everybody he is on his way. He is a two-time Grammy Award-winning keyboardist with musical roots in gospel, jazz and soul. His instrument of choice is the Hammond B-3 organ. Henry’s 2016 release and touring project, The Revival, features his dynamic and improvisational performances of music ranging from old gospel to Stevie Wonder.

It was in Bozeman, Montana that our Kitchen Dwellers first discovered a constant source of musical inspiration near the kitchen, with bluegrass music, and each other. From those free form kitchen picking sessions, their very own chief recipe of a bluegrass style was created. Over the course of their 4 year career the Dwellers have been honored to open for some of their very own musical heroes: Railroad Earth, Greensky Bluegrass, Head for the Hills, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, just to name a few.

World-renowned singer/songwriter/entertainer Dolly Parton continues racking up the honors! In 2014, The Recording Academy inducted Parton's self-penned hit JOLENE into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Now, in 2017, that same song, released as a collaboration with Pentatonix, was awarded a Grammy in the Country Duo/Group Performance category. Watch the collaborative performance here:

There was a multitude of high profile musical gatherings taking place across Hollywood this weekend of the Grammys. Meanwhile, a fascinating musical discussion happened in front of a small, lucky crowd of fans and journalists on Thursday evening, February 9 at the Record Parlour in Hollywood.

The Joe Marcinek Band is on tour and will be making a stop in Boulder this month at Owsley's Golden Road, Saturday, February, 19th, 2017. The Joe Marcinek Band is an ever-evolving mixture of original compositions and incredible musicians. Each show has a slightly different lineup and interpretation. The music is a blend of jazz and funk with a cerebral emphasis on groove and improvisation.
