If you are into The Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk and haven't checked out Future Rock, it’s a must you do. Coming out of Chicago Future Rock has been creating music since 2004. Their breakout year was 2006 when they performed at some of the largest music festivals in the U.S.. Future Rock has a unique way of creating their music. They use live instrumentation with electronics and blend it together that makes some great beats that have you finding your way to the dance floor.

During the middle of recording his debut album The Road, John John Brown fell down a 75 foot well and and luckily his acoustic guitar broke his fall. He was literally saved by music. Although much of the "The Road" is still in the vault, Brown's live acoustic performances of the album have been garnering much critical acclaim.

The Fox Theater in Boulder has started a Tuesday night bluegrass tradition. On this evening, after the extremely talented and quickly emerging Caribou Mountain Collective, a bluegrass all-star cast graced the stage to honor an important player in the bluegrass world. John Hartford is probably one the most underrated bluegrass musician ever.

On June 24, Round Records & ATO Records will release GarciaLive Volume Six: July 5, 1973 – Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, the latest installment of the celebrated GarciaLive archival series. The three-CD set was recorded at the 200 capacity Lion’s Share club formerly located in the small town of San Anselmo, CA, just 20 miles north of San Francisco. The performance features Jerry Garcia performing with friend, mentor and legendary keyboardist/vocalist Merl Saunders.
