The String Cheese Incident is in the midst of their expansive March Madness tour of the West. The run has thus far seen enthusiastic crowds, intimate venues, and resilient playing from the band. Their two set shows have highlighted a career retrospective of tunes and expansively inspired grooves. The two Fox Theater gigs last weekend are being heralded as the fiercest of the tour yet.

Actor Ethan Hawke visits 92Y on Thursday, March 17 at 8 pm with his new film, the Chet Baker biopic Born to Be Blue. Following a preview screening, Hawke discusses the film and his career with 92Y Reel Pieces moderator Annette Insdorf.  

Hank Williams Jr. will entertain all of his rowdy friends during CMA Music Festival when he plays The Stadium Friday, June 10. The dynamic entertainer will join Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church and Sam Hunt as part of the Friday night lineup. He’ll also jam with an all-star lineup for the Life & Songs of Kris Kristofferson tribute show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena March 16.

Colorado’s born and bred The String Cheese Incident has significantly elevated their concert experience since they began jamming together in 1993. Their first audiences were at the base of ski lifts in Telluride, Colorado; picking in exchange for a lift ticket for whoever was around to take notice.

The Hornitz (Friendship & Stoobacca) was founded in May 2006 as a horn-section-for-hire in and around the Boston area. The group worked with many notable artists such as George Clinton, Guster, and State Radio, but in 2008 The Hornitz began producing original music as a duo. “After a few years of experimenting and fine-tuning, Friendship and I have created a show that is one of the most dynamic spectacles ever produced by two people.” said Stoo.
