TRAVELIN’ MCCOURYS WITH BILL NERSHI, NEW ORLEANS SUSPECTS and HOT BUTTERED RUM will headline the 10th ANNUAL RHYTHMS ON THE RIO, an intimate music festival in South Fork, Colorado, from Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th.  The event is hosted by the South Fork Music Association, a non-profit entity; it raises money for organization’s Children’s Music Program.

The sun finally came out, and there was a full moon on the horizon. There is no better place to enjoy rocking Americana string band music then Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The bill on this night had two heavy hitting, fast growing, old-time playing bands from two different parts of the country. The Devil Makes Three comes from Santa Cruz, California, and they bring a sort of punk, pirate, darkness flavor to their Americana bluegrass.

Singer/songwriter Amos Lee released his self-titled debut in 2004 and followed with critically acclaimed Supply and Demand (2006) and Last Days at the Lodge (2008). But it was with 2011's Mission Bell that debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and brought Amos to nationwide mainstream attention.

For nearly 17 years, Yonder Mountain String Band has redefined bluegrass music, expanding the traditional acoustic genre beyond its previously established boundaries by steadily pushing the envelope into the realms of rock n' roll and improvisation. YMSB has always played music of their own design, in the process attracting a devout coterie of fans that often resembles a tight knit family on an epic musical journey as Yonder traverses the country with an ever-rigorous tour schedule.

PardeePalooza is an annual music and camping festival at State Bridge Amphitheater in Bond, CO (just outside of Vail, CO) to honor Tony Pardee Seibert who sadly passed in an avalanche last January, 2014 in the East Vail Chutes. We invite anyone any everyone to the beautiful venue of State Bridge Amphitheater to celebrate and honor Tony with friends, family and a fantastic weekend of music, camping, and more!

Experiencing these musicians in one of the most beautiful places to see live music, the Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder, CO was a wonderful experience and a memory that will stay. The landscapes that surround the foothills of Boulder make an aesthetic canvas for a perfect evening. There were people having picnics on the lawn, while others threw Frisbees under the setting sun.

Having just played a triumphant and powerful Bonnaroo performance this past weekend, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space are far from ready to stop touring in support of what many critics are calling his greatest solo album, lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar (Nonesuch/Warner Bros). Records. Today, the band is announcing new fall dates, including two shows at Lockn' Music Festival, as well as rescheduled ones to make up for last week's postponed shows in Toronto, Detroit and Chicago. Tickets already purchased will be honored at the rescheduled shows.

Real Gone Music is turning up the heat this Summer with a release schedule that just might be the most illustrious one in its proud history. Leading off is another one of the label’s patented singles collection, this time focusing on the long-lost single sides of Steppenwolf, 38 songs strong and assembled after a worldwide search for the best audio sources, with track-by-track commentary by band leader and vocalist John Kay. The label then stays in the singles groove with a two-CD, 50-track set featuring the Atco/Atlantic singles of the late, great Ben E. King.
