Digging back into their catalog, Leftover Salmon is excited to celebrate fifteen years of one of their most memorable recordings experiences, “The Nashville Sessions”. On September 15th their performance at the Ryman Auditorium will be a one-of-a-kind reunion and a great opportunity for the band to share that special recording experience with the fans in a live setting.

Moon Honey, the New Orleans born quartet, is celebrating the release of their first full album, Hand-Painted Dream Photographs, with the completion of their US west coast tour.  Moon Honey’s love of the symphony and poetry is evident in the beautiful lyrics throughout this record and in the orchestrated tracks.  Violinists, harpists, horns and choirs have sat in with the band.

Today, Electric Forest announces that tickets to the 4th annual event at Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Mich. on June 26-29, 2014 are sold out.  News of the sell out comes just two days after the festival released its final round of artists for the 2014 lineup. Umphrey’s McGee (2 Shows), Manic Menert (Manic Focus x Michal Menert), Blue Sky Black Death, Late Night Radio, Dustin Thomas, Marcelo Moxy and others join the list of over 100 acts scheduled to perform at 2014’s sold out festival.

Jeff Austin is embarking on the second leg of his Spring tour starting this weekend. Jeff is on tour this year with Danny Barnes (banjo and vocals), Eric Thorin (bass and vocals), and Ross Martin (guitar and vocals). They have been in the studio with a number of other friends, heroes and mentors to record an album; it can already be summed up succinctly as Austin’s love letter to storytelling.

Today Shoe Fest is releasing the second phase of the lineup for the 2014 edition of the festival. Featuring two nights of host band Old Shoe, the star studded line up will also feature The Wood Brothers, Split Lip Rayfield, Henhouse Prowlers and plenty more.Shoe Fest is a 3 day music and camping festival held at Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See in Manteno, IL over Labor Day weekend. Shoe Fest began in 2011 and continues to grow each year.
