Crowd Company

Earlier this year, London, UK-based octet Crowd Company, released their Alan Evans-produced record, Lowdown, which The Big Takeover lauded as an album "that bursts at the sonic seams with rich, vibrant, and varied compositions." While acid jazz-tinged track "Orbital" was not included as part of the record's release, the single was recorded during the same sessions at Evans' Iron Wax Studios while Lettuce's Ryan Zoidis and Eric "Benny" Bloom were in attendance.

Hailing from London, UK comes Crowd Company, a dynamic octet evoking a modern take on vintage soul-funk. Fittingly, Crowd Company releases their latest record, Lowdown, on January 31st, 2020 via the Alan Evans (Soulive, Ae3) founded label, Vintage League Music. In advance of the release, Crowd Company has shared instrumental single, "Express 76," and female vocal-led title track, "Lowdown."

Crowd Company, the critically acclaimed 8-piece funk soul outfit, has confirmed details on their upcoming album Stone & Sky, due out October 20th on the newly minted indie imprint Vintage League Music (VLM), founded by Soulive’s Alan Evans. The eleven-track album is also produced by Evans at the infamous Iron Wax Studio in Millers Falls, MA and will be available on vinyl, CD, and digitally. Three 7-inch vinyl singles will also be released featuring songs from the upcoming album and distributed by Fat Beats.
