Grateful Web is thrilled to present Cycles & Flash Mountain Flood at The Fox Theatre in Boulder on Saturday, July, 6th following Dead & Company's summer tour finale at Folsom Field. Join us for this fabulous event, as some of the Front Range's hottest musicians team up with one of the best venues in the country for a quintessential exploratory musical experience.
Cycles epitomize the power-trio format with ripping guitar, fat bass grooves played out through furious slapping, and dynamic drum beats flowing over intricate tempo changes. Each member wields a unique take on their instrument that when played together, forms a truly fresh and cohesive sound. Patrick Harvey commands the guitar with speed and precision reminiscent of Jimmy Herring while using his loop pedal virtually as its own instrument, a skill unique only to him.
Our favorite funk jam group Pigeons Playing Ping Pong flew on over to the Boulder Theater this past weekend. October 18th and 19th marked another two night run in Boulder, Colorado.
As a committed Cycles fan, it felt like a long wait to see them headline the Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, especially because they have played quite a few large shows/venues in the past. For those of you who don’t know Cycles, they are a three-piece jam band that incorporates rock, jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, and more. They have three albums available to listen to on Spotify; each one is amazing in its own way.
