Eric Krasno

This past weekend, Grammy award winning guitarist Eric Krasno set out on a coast-to-coast, two-week tour to promote his latest creation Always. Released on February 4th, this second solo endeavor is packed full of the quality compositions and visceral voyages that Krasno is recognized for in the studio as well as the live setting.

Today Petaluma Records released the official video for “Stompin' Ground” featuring Aaron Neville and Dirty Dozen Brass Band. The new recording is the second single unveiled from the upcoming soundtrack release Take Me To The River: New Orleans. The music video for “Stompin' Ground” features footage taken from the forthcoming feature documentary film Take Me To The River: New Orleans, which celebrates the undeniable musical history, heritage, legacy, culture, and influence of New Orleans and Louisiana.

The idea of “losing yourself” may seem negative, but to Grammy-award winning guitarist Eric Krasno, the phrase has a deeper meaning. “It’s about losing your ego when you find someone who works for you,” he explains.

Over the past two years, most people have been craving for more time together. But on his new single “Leave Me Alone,” songwriter-producer Eric Krasno wittingly reflects on the kind of person he could still do without – paparazzi and “people who love to gossip.”

The fifth annual Allman Family Revival Presented by Gibson will kick off this week in St. Louis, MO. The tour is also excited to announce the artist additions of Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke) and Eric Krasno (Soulive, Lettuce) who will join the star-studded event in select markets.

On his fourth full-length solo album, ‘Always,’ songwriter-producer Eric Krasno celebrates the permanence of family, in a time when the world seems especially unstable. The album’s third single, “Alone Together,” released today, is about the beauty that can be created between two people in solitude. “You and I, alone together now,” Krasno sings. “I didn’t know we could create something divine an innocent in a time so cold.”

It took 26 months for the second “annual” BeachLife Festival to transpire, September 10-12, but the Covid-19-includes delay only strengthened the shindig’s vision and spirit to deliver a celebratory tip of the cap to the Los Angeles South Bay seaside’s musical and lifestyle identity. The weekend’s music exemplified many genres, but there was a decidedly distinct number of post-punk rock and alt-pop bands who first blazed their ways to glory in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s.

On “Silence,” the new single from songwriter-producer Eric Krasno’s forthcoming solo album ‘Always’ (2/4, Mascot Label Group), Krasno explores the emotional havoc that a lack of communication can wreak on the human psyche. “Silence is a song I wrote a number of years ago about the torture of not knowing,” he explains.

Eric Krasno consecrates, commends, and celebrates the permanence of family on his fourth full-length solo album, ‘Always,’ out September 17th via Mascot Label Group. Across ten tracks with inimitable instrumentation, eloquent songcraft, and raw honesty, the Soulive and Lettuce co-founder, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter-producer defines himself as not only an artist, but also as a husband, father, and man.

Don Was joins award-winning guitarist/producer Eric Krasno on his special new podcast series. Presented by Osiris Media, ERIC KRASNO PLUS ONE sees the renowned musician hosting a one-of-a-kind interview series exploring the lives and work of some of his closest friends and musical collaborators.
