AURA Music Events has announced Papadosio, Conspirator, Perpetual Groove and The Heavy Pets as headliners for AURA Music & Arts Festival 2013!

Catskill Chill Music Festival is getting the party started early with Catskill Chill Wednesday Jams, live at Sullivan Hall in New York City every Wednesday in August (there are 5!). As official house band of the celebration, FiKus will play each week and the lineups will be filled in with Chill Family artists who are slated to play this year's Catskill Chill Music Festival at Camp Minglewood in Hancock, NY.

Boy howdy! Sunday was an interesting close to Mulberry Mountain’s Wakarusa Festival! The day started out perfectly: nice weather, a good lineup and all around happytimes. I even got to interview The Infamous StringdustersAndy Falco and Travis Book! If you haven’t seen this band - do it.

On Wednesday night, the Colorado Daily and the Grateful Web presented "Twiddle" & "The Heavy Pets" at the Fox Theater. The show opened up with a seven-man reggae group, "Policulture." The band members all seemed pretty young, and the drummer was clad in a gas mask and a rasta hat.

Hancock, NY is a quaint town in the Catskills with little other than a bank, a couple bars, and a small grocery store. It’s home to a splendid property called Camp Minglewood, where kids run around barefoot all summer, go from arts and crafts to swimming to kickball and back to their tiny bunks. Then, the music takes over.

On the heels of their self-titled 2010 release, The Heavy Pets are unveiling a collectors edition, 150 gram audiophile vinyl album featuring 7 blazing tracks including the previously un-released track "This Side Up" and an alternate version of their haunting 2010 single, "Lazy Anna". The album also includes a free download card for all 12 tracks on the new CD.
