The third day of the 2022 Beale Street Music Festival unfolded under crisp, clear skies after the rainstorms from the night before cleared away. The beautiful conditions encouraged music fans to arrive early for the final day. The musical lineup featured the most diverse of this year's gatherings. The Bud Light stage was again the focus of African roots music, but unlike the days before, the focus was not solely on the rap genre.

Grammy-winning folk duo Indigo Girls return with a full summer 2022 tour schedule including Summerfest and Red Rocks shows. Indigo Girls will be joining fellow headliners Rickie Lee Jones, Brandi Carlile, Sarah McLachlan and Neko Case on these dates. As always, they are bringing along a some of their favorite artists as support for these dates, including Katie Pruitt, Nicole Atkins, Danielle Howle, Becky Warren, Ruthie Foster, and Lucy Wainwright Roche.

Over the past four years, the Opelika Songwriters Festival has attracted die-hard live music fans from around the Southeast to hear original songwriters spanning many genres of music perform their songs. Restaurants, bars, a distillery and an Inn in historic downtown Opelika become music listening rooms for two nights and a third day for dozens of solo, band, and in-the-round performances throughout the weekend of October 14 – 16, 2022.

Brandi Carlile’s Girls Just Wanna Weekend—a destination concert vacation produced by Cloud 9 Adventures in partnership with The Bowery Presents—will return to the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico February 1-5, 2022, and once again features an all female-fronted lineup. In addition to multiple sets from Carlile, the event will include performances by Sheryl Crow, Tanya Tucker, Indigo Girls, Lucius, Margo Price, Yola,KT Tunstall,&n

Northlands, formerly known as Drive-In Live, has announced another round of performances as its concert calendar for 2021 fills up. All performances begin at 6:30pm with gates opening at 5:00pm.

EventMakers - USA announced today that the After Hours Concert Series will move to The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County, Virginia.  The 2021 season, which is expected to include at least 30 shows, kicks off in May with three concerts including Jamey Johnson on May 14th, New Faces of Country featuring Jimmie Allen, Matt Stell and more on May 21st and Chase Rice on May 22nd.

Amy Ray is premiering the video for her new single “Muscadine” today with Garden & Gun. The song features Merge Records artist H.C. McEntire and is available through all digital service providers and Amy's own Daemon Records HERE. The song was penned by Amy Ray and recorded with her band remotely in their respective homes.

Picture it: The most beautiful outdoor festival grounds at Planet Bluegrass in stunning Lyons, Colorado. Three days full of world-class musicians from around the globe. 5,000 of your new best friends. For music lovers, this is a dream come true.

The epic music extravaganza this past weekend was beyond stellar. I loved all the music, and the following were my favorites:

The Indigo Girls, Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, are returning to Boulder, Colorado early next month for a very special collaborative recording session with the Colorado University Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Gary Lewis. This unique, recorded concert event takes place on Wednesday, April 5 at Macky Auditorium at the University of Colorado Boulder campus.
