Roots-rock band Michigan Rattlers are hitting the home sweet road and coming to a city near you (finally)! The band will tour in support of their recently announced sophomore album, That Kind of Life (out May 19th via the band’s own Massasauga Records label). The juggernaut of an excursion kicks off this month in the band’s home state of Michigan with two very special album release shows in Detroit.

Roots-rock band, Michigan Rattlers have put their own spin on Three Dog Night's "Never Been To Spain," giving the classic song a fresh and unique feel. The song had become both a staple and a fan favorite in the band's winter tour setlist before the tour was cut short. The song and video were both recorded live at their last tour stop in Chicago before everything shut down.

The Northern Michigan woods once again hosts an end-of-summer weekend of music as the Hoxeyville Music Festival celebrates 19 years. Artists announced include some new acts to the Wellston, MI-based event as well as long time favorites

Lifelong friends and deep-north natives, Michigan Rattlers play heavy-hearted folk-rock with an aching dose of Midwestern nice. Graham Young (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Reed (vocals/upright bass), Christian Wilder (vocals/piano) and Tony Audia (drums) began writing music and performing together in their Northern Michigan high school. They regularly played every bar, cafe, and stage in town, developing a musical chemistry informed by the likes of AC/DC, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Seger, and more.
