Roger Street Friedman

The Americana singer-songwriter Roger Street Friedman has just released “Annabelle,” the second single from his forthcoming album ‘Love Hope Trust,’ out 11/4. A tragic story of a young girl who was steered in the wrong direction, the song features the GRAMMY-winning producer, guitarist and songwriter Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan, Levon Helm, Judy Collins, Willie Nelson), who also produced the record.

Today, the Americana singer-songwriter Roger Street Friedman announces his latest album ‘Love Hope Trust,’ out November 4th.

Sea Cliff, NY-based Americana singer-songwriter Roger Street Friedman is set to head into the studio in March and April to work on new music with Grammy Award winner Larry Campbell (Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble, Bob Dylan’s Never Ending Tour) producing songs for Friedman’s next full-length release. Setting up in Friedman’s home studio, The Playroom, Campbell and Friedman will be joined by Friedman’s band to record an album’s-worth of new folk/Americana songs Friedman wrote over the past two years during the pandemic.

When Larry Campbell, the GRAMMY winning producer and longtime collaborator of Levon Helm, says he wants to collaborate – you listen. Just ask Roger Street Friedman, the award-winning, NY-based singer-songwriter, whose “autobiographical, cinematic, blunt, and honest” songwriting has been compared to James Taylor, Randy Newman, and Jackson Browne (The Aquarian).
