Rufus and Martha Wainwright are extremely happy to announce the date and some details for their annual Christmas show, “A Not So Silent Night,” to take place at The Town Hall on December 22. A family tradition, the two siblings will be joined by their immediate family as well other members of the Wainwright and McGarrigle clans. Emmylou Harris is a part of the tradition too. She has been a part of almost every Christmas show since its inception since she had a strong creative history with the Wainwrights’ mother, Kate McGarrigle. Norah Jones is also a returning guest to the annual show.

Well, it’s about time Les! After a twenty-year hiatus from touring, Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade is back out on the road. The band is about a week into the massive forty-one date Summer of Green Tour. Over the years Claypool has embarked on many wild, weird and wonderful endeavors that take the audience along on his creative quest of goodness through his musical mind. That in itself is a remarkable undertaking since everything he does and his many collaborations are all much different in many respects.

Sean Ono Lennon has created a series of captivating and innovative animations using the Spotify Canvas medium to visually accompany the eleven album tracks and three singles of the Enhanced Spotify release of John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band – The Ultimate Mixes. Written and directed by Ono Lennon, “I Am the Egbert” is a series of short looping scenes that tell the story of a character named Egbert, whose life experiences strangely mirror the sentiments in the sequence of songs on the album tracks and the encores, “Give Peace A Chance,” “Cold Turkey,” and “Instant Karma!

Community members, international performers, political representatives, candidates and activists have gathered for a virtual concert as Hudson Valley Votes comes together to get out the vote in the most important election the United States has ever faced.

Last weekend, Claypool Lennon Delirium took their band to Colorado for a 3-night run. On Sunday, August 18th, they took the Boulder Theater stage for an unbelievable show.

The sun painted the final day of the 2019 Beale Street Music Festival in bright colors as puffy clouds floated about in the sky like cotton balls. It was a picture-perfect afternoon as the sold-out crowd began to fill the Tom Lee Park shortly after the gates opened. The music started early with the happy go lucky sounds of 24-year-old Memphis native Healy. The upbeat singer mixes musical genres like a Long Island Ice Tea of music.
