Timothy B. Schmit

TIMOTHY B. SCHMIT of the Eagles today (May 6) celebrates the release of his solo album DAY BY DAY by sharing the video for its third single “I Come Alive.” Anchored by an infectious ska rhythm, it’s a joyously soulful SCHMIT original lit up with his unmistakable tender voice and lyrics about romantic harmony and being in tune with the world.

An icon of American music since the early 1970s, TIMOTHY B. SCHMIT of The Eagles has spent the past half-century in a creative whirl, blurring the lines between rock & roll, blue-eyed soul, California country, and folk.

Timothy B. Schmit has released “Cross That Line,” a new song that addresses the MeToo Movement along with Donald Trump's ego. Written by Schmit, “Cross That Line” is the first song from a new album he has been recording since the Eagles' “Hotel California Tour” was paused in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The longtime bass player of the Eagles, Timothy B. Schmit, headlined a classic rock marathon at the ornate Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California. Just getting to the event was a chore for music fans, as the entire block of Wilshire Boulevard directly in front of the teapot has been shut down for a massive construction project.

After his sold-out winter trek, TIMOTHY B. SCHMIT is gearing up for his spring tour launching Sunday, April 16 in Chicago, IL (see dates below). Before heading out on the road next week, TIMOTHY joins NPR's "HERE & NOW" with host Robin Young for an in-depth interview spanning his music history; listen (here).

LEAP OF FAITH, the new 12-track solo album from TIMOTHY B. SCHMIT, is out today (9/23) on the indie label Benowen Records.
