The first week of the New Orleans Jazz Festival wrapped up on Sunday, and it was a spectacular day! The Red Clay Strays are nominated for Emerging Act of the Year at the 2024 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards. The awards ceremony will take place at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, September 18.

After a highly successful 2023 tour with The Band Geeks, Jon Anderson decided to expand the creative partnership with the band to create new material for a potential new studio album. The result of this effort is “TRUE” which will be released on August 23 by Jon’s new label, Frontiers Music. Featuring appearances from artists including Graham Nash, Lucinda Williams, Chris Stapleton and fellow Heartbreaker Benmont Tench, the album is due June 14 via BMG.
