The first week of the New Orleans Jazz Festival wrapped up on Sunday, and it was a spectacular day! Initially, there were concerns about rain, but the weather turned out perfect with clear skies and a refreshing breeze. The crowds were smaller than Saturday's, making it easier to navigate the festival grounds and access food quickly.

The Red Clay Strays are nominated for Emerging Act of the Year at the 2024 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards. The awards ceremony will take place at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, September 18.

After a highly successful 2023 tour with The Band Geeks, Jon Anderson decided to expand the creative partnership with the band to create new material for a potential new studio album. The result of this effort is “TRUE” which will be released on August 23 by Jon’s new label, Frontiers Music. The 9-song album will be a welcome gift to all fans of Jon’s 40 years as lead vocalist of the multi platinum Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee YES.

Celebrated guitarist and songwriter Mike Campbell (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Fleetwood Mac) and his band The Dirty Knobs are set for the release of their third album, Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits. Featuring appearances from artists including Graham Nash, Lucinda Williams, Chris Stapleton and fellow Heartbreaker Benmont Tench, the album is due June 14 via BMG.
