The ever evolving and greatly loved Levitate Music Festival is proud to announce the 2019 lineup for its seventh annual music festival happening July 12-14, 2019. Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats, and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, will be joined by Stick Figure, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Sublime with Rome, Michael Franti and Spearhead, SOJA, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Ripe, The Wood Brothers, and many more. KAABOO is pleased to announce its 2019 music and comedy lineups for KAABOO Texas taking place May 10-12, 2019. The multi-stage and full sensory event will happen at the state-of-the-art AT&T Stadium and take place both inside and outdoors allowing guests to move freely throughout the property.

New York got a taste of Alabama soul music this week when eight-piece band St. Paul and the Broken Bones took the stage at New York’s Brooklyn Steel. After selling out two shows at one of New York’s most well-known music venues, this band did not disappoint.

Critically-acclaimed Birmingham, Alabama octet St. Paul & The Broken Bones have announced the September 7th release of their highly-anticipated new album, Young Sick Camellia (RECORDS). Young Sick Camellia contains nine songs infused with the band’s cross-section of soul, rock ‘n’ roll, R&B and funk, mixed with passion, intensity and a boundary-blurring musical exploration that has become synonymous with St. Paul & The Broken Bones.

The final day of Bonnaroo 2018 began with an intense morning thunderstorm. Loud thunder booms and cracking lightning strikes gave way to short, intense downpours over several hours. Nervous concertgoers took shelter anywhere they could find, many in their cars. Exhausted by three non-stop days of intense partying many others began heading home. But by afternoon the sun came out painting the high clouds in multiple colors, and the festival resumed almost entirely on schedule.

There is a place filled with nothing but greatness, where virtuous vibes fly like the swallows of Capistrano, and magical music frees the spirit to glide up her own personal stairway to heaven. There is a place where heady humans come to swim together in a sea of awesomeness with kindness in their hearts and love in their souls.

This year's Forecastle Festival was a success despite extreme weather. Due to heavy rains leading up to the festival, the rising Ohio River threatened the structure of stages close to the water. A windstorm on Friday shut down headliner Sam Smith's performance early and caused a two-hour delay on Saturday. Throughout the weekend, however, the extreme heat was the talk of most festivalgoers. Thankfully, the crew hosting the event was phenomenal.

Half The City (Single Lock/Thirty Tigers) the full-length debut from the explosive Birmingham, AL soul sextet St. Paul & The Broken Bones is set for release on February 18. St. Paul & The Broken Bones has already garnered much attention due to their high-energy live performances, led by charismatic front man Paul Janeway. The group’s sweat-soaked, take-no-prisoners style has converted many, including Paste Magazine, who named St.
