Life is good® is excited to announce the lineup for the 2011 Life is good Festival. Set to take place September 24-25 in Canton, MA, a suburb of Boston, the multi-faceted fundraiser combines world-class headliners and nationally known musical talent on three stages, including several of today’s most popular children’s performers.
Known for consistently booking some of the finest performers in new and traditional folk, roots rock, bluegrass and newgrass, and other American roots music, Suwannee Springfest returns in 2012 for its 16th straight year. Suwannee Springest will be held March 23-25, 2012 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida and features some of the biggest names in the scene with veterans and up-and-comers alike.
On September 1, Water For People, an international nonprofit organization that aims to create a world where everyone has access to safe drinking water and sanitation, launched a Crowdrise.com campaign in an effort to raise $2 million through the crowd-sourced, online fundraising platform.
Since Keller Williams first appeared on the scene in the early ’90s, he has helped define the term independent artist. Looking at the diversity of his fall plans, you can certainly ascertain why. Look for Keller on tour through the end of the year in several of his various incarnations, including his newest collaboration – The Travelin’ McCourys Featuring Keller Williams – debuting this fall at Magnolia Fest, Voodoo Music Festival, and others.
As a busker on the streets of New Orleans, Gill Landry's path led him to become an indispensable member of Old Crow Medicine Show. His new album Piety & Desire is a love song to his beginnings in New Orleans. Named after two streets that run parallel through the city’s 9th ward where Landry cut his teeth for years.
