Modern retro rockers Coral Moons, whom the Boston Herald anointed an ‘Indie Rock Band to Watch,’ and whose debut album (Fieldcrest) landed on The Boston Globe’s ‘Top Albums of 2021,’ have announced a spring/summer tour canvassing the Northeast with two major festival appearances.

Mountain Home Music Company congratulated Unspoken Tradition on the success of their single, “California,” which reached No. 1 on the Bluegrass Today chart, during their album release show at 185 King Street in Brevard, North Carolina.

The full daily music lineup for Punk In The Park—headlined by Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphys--has been announced for the November 5 & 6 event at Oak Canyon Park in Orange County, CA which features over 30 bands along with craft beer tasting.

The newly added bands include Dead Kennedys, The Murder City Devils, 7Seconds, Agent Orange, Manic Hispanic, Good Riddance, Subhumans, Swingin’ Utters, Dead Boys, Pulley, The Briefs, Beach Rats, Love Canal and Urethane. The full daily music lineup is listed below.

The Jim Irsay Collection, based in Indianapolis, has acquired a Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar owned and played by Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Janis Joplin.

Until recently on loan to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this was one of two acoustic guitars Joplin owned when she died and is likely the only guitar she played on stage during her years of fame. She also learned to play her iconic hit song Me and Bobby McGee on the J-45.
