The newest funk heavyweights on the scene, Analog Son, are back with another performance in Boulder, July 31st with legendary saxophonist Maceo Parker. With a string of ground-shaking and crowd pleasing shows following the release of their latest LP Stomp And Shout, Analog Son is ready to deliver another incredible performance.
Analog Son, the brainchild of Jordan Linit and Josh Fairman, incorporates a rotating cast of players including members of the Shady Horns, the Motet, New Mastersounds and Ivan Neville of Dumstaphunk. Each live performance features an updated cast of musicians, and fans can always count on the best funk players in the scene to be in on the latest from Analog Son.
Their wildly successful sophomore album release, Stomp and Shout features horn lines from Ryan Zoidis and Eric Bloom from the Shady Horns, along with various musicians ranging from members of the Motet to Nigel Hall, Joe Tatton of the New Mastersounds, Benzel Baltimore of P-Funk fame, Terrence Houston of the Funky Meters, and Ivan Neville of Dumpstaphunk.
