The Blue Note Jazz Festival is set to present the new iteration of its Napa Valley series: The Black Radio Experience, curated by Grammy-award-winning pianist, producer, and songwriter Robert Glasper. The boutique event will take place August 30-September 1 at The Meritage Resort and Spa. A wide range of hotel and VIP ticket packages will be available to the general public on Thursday, March 7 at 9 a.m. PT/noon ET. See HERE for hotel packages and additional info. Watch/share the event’s video teaser HERE; the full lineup for this year’s event will be revealed in April.

Following two massively successful Napa Jazz Festivals, Blue Note and Glasper chose a more intimate setting this year, seeking to create a closer connection between devoted fans and the two iconic jazz institutions.

The Black Radio Experience is the latest product of a long-running friendship between Blue Note and Glasper. Last year, the second annual Napa Valley Jazz Festival brought together massive household names including Mary J. Blige, Nas, Chance the Rapper, Dave Chappelle, Talib Kweli & Madlib and a host of others, while the inaugural festival saw Snoop Dogg, Chaka Khan, yasiin bey & Talib Kweli (Black Star) and more. Last fall, the Blue Note Jazz Club hosted Glasper’s fifth annual Robtober, with 60 shows across 30 days featuring special guests Norah Jones, Black Thought, Lupe Fiasco, Yebba, Terrace Martin, Kamasi Washington and more.
