Catskill Chill announces VIP Program with special performances

The sixth annual Catskill Chill Music Festival, “A Farewell to Minglewood”, taking place September 18-20, 2015 at Camp Minglewood in Hancock, New York has announced details for the VIP Packages, going on sale Wednesday, July 29 at 1pm EST. Headlined by preeminent jam band moe., this is a very special year for the much-loved three-day music and art gathering because Catskill Chill will move to a new home in 2016.

The 2015 VIP package builds upon last year’s with such additions as a VIP Lounge Cabin, including private restroom and shower access, artist poster signings and intimate VIP BBQ sets with private performances by Aaron Magner & Tom Hamilton: Acoustic Again (Sunday) and “Bitchfork” featuring Mihali Savoulidis, Todd Stoops, Chuck Jones and Rob Chafin (Saturday).

This year’s VIP Package includes: 

·       VIP Viewing Deck at the Main Stage, featuring private VIP cash bar with discounted beverages and complimentary snacks
·       VIP only Lounge Cabin, adjacent to the VIP camping area. Within a one minute walk from the main stage, this cabin will be a great getaway for VIPs to relax Chill-style
·       Private VIP daytime BBQ on September 19 with a performance by “Bitchfork” featuring Mihali Savoulidis, Todd Stoops, Chuck Jones and Rob Chafin

·       Private VIP daytime BBQ on September 20 with a performance by Aaron Magner & Tom Hamilton: Acoustic Again
·       Picturesque Lakeside VIP Camping, a short stroll from the Main Stage.
·       VIP only bathrooms with showers, located within the VIP Lounge Cabin 

·       Daily VIP only artist poster signings to take place in the VIP Lounge Cabin
·       Swift VIP festival entrance
·       VIP parking in the nearest lot to the main stage 

·       Golf Cart Shuttle Service to whisk you and your gear to your campsite or cabin upon arrival on Friday and for your departure on Monday
·       VIP only golf cart shuttle daily

Joining moe. at the top of this year’s line-up are Lotus, Zappa Plays Zappa, Lettuce, Electron, The Motet, Dopapod, Break Science, Twiddle, Kung Fu, Turkuaz, The Werks, Particle & Fam, and George Porter Jr. & The Runnin' Pardners.

While the performance schedule alone isone of the most highly anticipated festivals of the season, and this year is expected to sell out.

With a limited capacity, no campsite is more than a few minutes’ walk to the stages and anyone can make their way up to the front for their favorite sets. Hosted at a secluded performing where childhood dreams merge with the music festival culture, the “Chillfam” as Chill’s loving community have coined themselves, bunk-up in 16-32 person sleep away camp-style cabins, creating decorated theme camps intermingled amongst the campers.

The festival also features free parking, free camping, daily yoga, live art, a farmer’s market, craft and food vendors, a communal bonfire nightly and an open mic.
