Common Kings Grammy Nominee for "Best Reggae Album"

Isle Empire/Mensch House Records is thrilled to announce that Common Kings has been nominated for their acclaimed debut album Lost In Paradise in the “Best Reggae Album” category at the 60th GRAMMYS®. The band, who is currently on their “Broken Crowns” tour with Matisyahu, continues to receive press accolades and win over fans nationwide with the San Antonio Current hailing “I can say confidently that Common Kings might be in my top five performances.”

Lost In Paradise, released in February 2017 is their debut studio effort and follows up on their successful singles and compilation albums Hits & Mrs and Summer Anthems. In addition, Common Kings will be releasing a new single, "Today's A New Day" feat. MayDay on Friday, December 1, 2017.

The 60th Annual Grammys® will air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, January 28, 2018. The telecast will be broadcast live on CBS at: 7:30–11 p.m. ET and 4:30–8 p.m. PT. Other nominees in the category include Damian Marley, Morgan Heritage, J Boog, and Chronixx.

The past two months has seen the band successfully touring nationwide with Matisyahu. In celebration of the tour, Common Kings released a hit collaborative single with their tourmate, aptly titled “Broken Crowns.”
