Earlier this week, Connecticut rock quintet Goose made their inaugural late night national television appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performing a concise rendition of the fan-favorite tune “Hungersite.” Greeted by a massive applause from the capacity audience, the band launched into the high-octane tune, one of the leading singles from their acclaimed 2022 studio album Dripfield. The band’s faithful supporters packed the room to enthusiastically deliver the signature “Goose” chant at every turn, garnering wholesome acknowledgement from the host - “there is a lot of excitement about this band...they’re not booing, they’re saying Goose!”
The TV appearance precedes Goose’s forthcoming eight-show northeast arena tour with Trey Anastasio Band beginning next Wednesday, November 9 in Portland, ME. Colorado will then host the band’s annual “Goosemas” celebration with a pair of arena shows at 1STBANK Center (12/16 - 17). They will conclude the year with a two-night run at Cincinnati, OH’s Andrew J. Brady Music Center (12/30 - 31).
