Following a three-week tour of the Eastern states in January and February, the Michigan quintet heads West for a run through the Mountain states, four shows in California, before winding through the Pacific Northwest and then back through the Southeast with a duo of sets at Suwanee Springfest at the end of March. Additionally, the members of Greensky Bluegrass are humbled and thrilled to be a part of the 45th Annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, joining a cadre of some of the world’s finest artists, performing their set on May 1.
For the first live performances of the year, the Kalamazoo pickers kick off their 2014 Winter Tour this weekend at the Vogue in Indianapolis before headlining the Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival January 18. The band’s latest release, If Sorrows Swim, is currently in the final stages of production with release details forthcoming.
